Delightful’s Grade 3 Reading List (Grade 2 by Age)

school-clipart-5Here is Delightful’s Grade 3 reading list from last year (age 7-8).  You will notice there are less titles on this list than there have been in previous years.  Delightful spent a lot of time this past year reading and re-reading favorite books but each book only gets one entry on the list.

In addition, Delightful made a number of new friends last year and spent a lot of time socializing with them (Shhh! Don’t tell the naysayers!).  This was especially important for her since Mom was so sick with HG and couldn’t do all the fun stuff we usually do around our house.

One advantage to having such a proficient reader in our house is that I can use Delightful as a sort of guinea pig to see what resources will and won’t work with the rest of the kids.  As a result, you may find some of these resources popping up again on her lists in the future as I place resources in a better “grade appropriate” space in my plan.
