Here’s a thought to ponder from Rev. Dale K. Dykema:
Confessing boredom in the world that God has created is itself, an insinuating attack on His character. Picture, if you can, a slum-dweller who can’t find anything interesting in a Frank Lloyd Wright mansion, a garden planted by Margaret Thomason or a book by Dickens or Poe. The attitude matches that of a stick-ball player who can’t pay attention at the seventh game of the world series in Yankee Stadium. Our Lord has created a world so filled with interest and beauty that only spiritual dullards and worse dare to find it boring.
